"YOU DON'T HAVE TO WAIT TO GROW UP TO BUILD SOMETHING AMAZING."
— Brody, Age 11, Creator of BroVerse
Everybody has ideas. Every single person. The difference is what you do with them.
I started making games because I thought, "What if I could build something my friends actually want to play?" I didn't know how to code. I didn't have fancy tools. I just had an idea and I started.
Being creative doesn't mean you have to be an artist or a genius. It means you try things. You draw something ugly and make it better. You write a story that doesn't make sense and fix it. You build a game that breaks and rebuild it.
Creativity isn't a talent — it's a choice you make every day.
What's one idea you've had that you haven't tried yet? Write it down right here:
The scariest part of doing something new isn't failing. It's starting.
When I told people I was building a website, some kids laughed. When I said I was making games, some people said "You're 11, that's too hard." But here you are, on MY website, reading MY words, playing MY games.
Being brave doesn't mean you're not scared. It means you do the thing anyway. Every game developer, every artist, every musician, every inventor — they all had a moment where they thought "maybe I can't do this." They did it anyway.
Your age is not a limit. It's your superpower. Adults overthink everything. Kids just DO.
What's one thing you've been scared to try? Say it out loud (or type it here):
Don't just accept things the way they are. Ask why. Ask how. Ask what if.
When I play a game, I don't just play it — I think about how it works. How did they make the character jump? Why does that level feel harder? What would I do differently? That's how I learned to build my own.
Critical thinking means you look deeper. You don't just believe something because someone said it. You think about it. You test it. You figure out if it's actually true.
The smartest people aren't the ones with all the answers. They're the ones who ask the best questions.
Pick something you see every day. Ask a question about it that nobody ever asks:
This is the most important one. None of the other stuff matters if you're not kind.
Being creative is cool. Being brave is awesome. Being smart is great. But if you use all that to put people down or make others feel small, then what's the point?
The BroVerse is a place where everybody is welcome. Every kid, every background, every skill level. You don't have to be the best. You just have to be you, and treat other people the way you'd want to be treated.
The coolest thing you can do is help someone else feel like they belong.
Think of one kind thing you can do for someone this week. Commit to it:
This website? The BroVerse? It's MY world. I designed it. I chose the colors. I made the games. I wrote these words.
And you know what? You can build your own world too. It doesn't have to be a website. It can be a comic book universe. A YouTube channel. A clothing brand. A robot. A business. A song. Whatever makes YOUR brain light up.
Don't wait for someone to give you permission. Don't wait until you're older. Don't wait until you "know enough." You'll never feel ready — but you can always start.
The world needs what only YOU can create. So start building.
If you could build your own world or project, what would it be?
